MYTorus downloads of XSPEC tables can be accessed here: since there are a large number of files, please read carefully. You will only need a few for your particular application but you need to deduce which MYTorus model files are appropriate to select. The current version of the model is beta version 0.0, for which the appropriate latest version of the manual is beta version 0.0. (However, until the manual is updated, you can find more recent information on extensions to the model and additional instructions for usage in Yaqoob (2012), astro-ph/1204.4196). The basic (minimal) model is a tar file that opens into directory called mytorusfiles/, and contains the zeroth-order continuum extinction file (mytorus_Ezero_v00.fits.gz), and the Compton-scattered continuum and fluorescent line tables necessary for a model with power-law intrinsic continuum with a terminal energy of 500~keV.
In addition to the above files, there are another three groups of files. The first group consists of the separate mtable and etable versions of the zeroth-order continuum factor. The second group has additional tables for a power-law intrinsic continuum, consisting of the Compton-scattered continuum tables with different termination energies and tables for the fluorescent emissio-line spectra. The third group has additional tables for a Comptonized thermal intrinsic continuum, consisting of the Compton-scattered continuum tables with different values of the plasma temperature and tables for the fluorescent emission-line specrtra. Regardless of the intrinsic continuum form, the emission-line tables are calculated for different energy offsets.
Since there are an infinite number of possible tables, the selection presented here may not offer the files that you need. If that is the case, please e-mail a request to model@mytours.com for specific files to be custom-made.
Please refer to the MYTorus manual and Yaqoob (2012) for details of all the files and how to use them. All fits files are gzipped.
WARNING!! REMEMBER TO UNZIP THE FILES BEFORE SPECTRAL FITTING, OTHERWISE THE FITTING WILL BE EXTREMELY SLOW.
